Orpiment is often associated with bright red Realgar, and may form in strikingly colored and unique mineral combinations.Orpiment occurs in hydrothermal veins at Iow temperature (up to 400°F/ 200°C), hot spring deposits, and volcanic fumaroles, and it may occur with stibnite and realgar.
